Pastoral Counseling / Coaching
Often occurs in ministry. We can also provide you with new skills to help parishioners facing grief, stress, suicide and other challenges.
Personal Restoration
In my thirty-four years of being a pastor, a chaplain, and an Archbishop, I’ve discovered that the pastoral ministry can be meaningful and rewarding, but also difficult, damaging, and destructive. In talking with hundreds of fellow pastors, I’ve found that the longer a person is in ministry the more challenging their work becomes. Their people can often be petty and critical. Whenever there is a dispute between parishioners not everyone can win their point. Many pastors are simply overwhelmed by constant challenges and long hours. People expect them (and their families) to be perfect … and they are not. RLC coaching can provide a private, safe environment to discuss issues and propose solutions.
Pastoral Tools
Bible schools and Seminaries often do not provide the tools the average pastor need in order to deal with subjects like PTSD, grief and loss, suicide pre/postvention, giving death notifications, ministering at hospital and on-scene deaths to name just a few. As an on-scene chaplain for law enforcement agencies and first responders and as a trainer, Dr. Klerekoper can assist. Dr. Andersen has spent years in the funeral industry as well as providing counseling for people in grief, loss and stress. We’ll help you gain the confidence you need to walk alongside people dealing with crisis and tragedy.
We look forward to working with you!
